Thank you for choosing Tamarack Vacation Rentals, we're so glad you chose to stay with us. Below you will find our Property Rental Information and Rules. 

  • Check-in time is 4:00 PM; Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check-out or early check-in MAY be arranged if available but must be requested 48 hours before arrival.

  • Weekday or Weekends. All stays are a two-night minimum requirement with the exception of our 30+ day rentals.

  • Holiday rates are the same as weekend rates. A Three-night minimum stay required on Martin Luther King weekend, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and December 15th - January 2nd.

  • Minimum renter age: 25 years

  • Base rental rates include 4-8 guests. Additional guest charge is $30.00 per night, per guest. Children aged two years and younger are considered free and not part of the guest count. Property manager will contact renter 48-hours before rental to finalize guest number, confirm arrival time and arrange entrance to house.

  • Non-refundable cleaning fee will be added to total rental cost. Each cabin varies on the cost. If any additional cleaning services are needed that are beyond the normal cleaning fee an additional fee of $35 per hour will be deducted from the damage deposit. If excess cleaning is needed for the hot tub due to negligence by the guest a $75 DUMP FEE will be deducted from the cleaning deposit.

  • Pet Rules:

  • Tamarack must be notified in advance of a dog coming.

  • The registered dog fee is $50/night plus tax. If we find evidence of a dog and you did not register your pet the fee increases to $150/night/pet. 

  • Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their dog. Please make us aware
    of any damage so that we can take care of it.

  • Only one dog is allowed per unit (unless noted otherwise).

  • The dog is not allowed on beds or the furniture. An additional $300 cleaning fee
    will be charged if there is evidence of a dog on bedding or furniture.

  • The dog must be crated if left alone in the home. Do not leave unattended or tied
    outside. Due to owls, hawks and animals it is not safe for small dogs outside unless

  • Dog owners please clean up dog scat unless the scat is off in the woods where
    people would not normally walk.

  • The dog must not run loose and must remain on a leash at all times.

  • If signs of a pet are found or reported at a non-pet friendly property, you will be contacted, and your entire damage deposit will be forfeited. Please respect our owners’ homes and do not bring your pet to a non-pet friendly unit.​ We have other amazing pet friendly units to offer!

  • Deposits & Payments:

  • First half of the total rental fee is due upon booking. Second half is due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservation is not secured until initial payment is made. We accept Cash, Checks, VISA, MASTERCARD, and Venmo.

  • Cancellation Policy: 10% cancellation fee applied to all reservations cancelled 30 days before arrival.  If you cancel 30 to 0 days before check in there are NO REFUNDS (unless travel insurance* is purchased through your CSA Protection Coverage and all terms/conditions have been met). Please be aware of this when making your reservation. 

  • NO REFUNDS. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit (Travel insurance* can be purchased through your CSA Travel Insurance. All terms/conditions must be met). We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.

  • There will be NO REFUNDS due to Acts of God, nature, weather- or weather-related situations, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failure, ski or golf conditions, power failures or family feuds (unless CSA Travel Insurance* was purchased by guest and all terms and conditions have been met). We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.

  • CSA Travel Insurance is optional and available for additional purchase. Please contact CSA Travel Insurance at (866) 999-4018 to add this to your reservation.

  • NO SMOKING INSIDE HOUSE.  Guests who must smoke please do so outside and dispose of cigarette butts in the provided receptacle only. 

  • ABSOLUTELY NO OUTDOOR BURNING while the burn ban is in effect. 


  • Even though you are surrounded by open space, sound does carry. This includes hot tub noise.  Quiet time is 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.  If we receive a noise complaint you will receive a $500 fee.  If you do not quiet down, you may be escorted off the property by the sheriff and any county fees apply. If you are a noisy group or want to party outside after 10pm Tamarack is not the place for you to stay. Thank you for being courteous to our neighbors and community.

  • Weather: The Pacific Northwest is beautiful but unpredictable and can change dramatically during the winter. We highly recommend you drive an All Wheel or 4 Wheel drive vehicle when traveling, and with chains. Be sure the check the weather and pass conditions before driving over the passes. 

  • Power Outages -Chelan County PUD usually has power restored in a short time. We have equipped each cabin with a flashlight and lantern. All water / pumps / septic are electric so there is no water or flushing of toilets when the power is off.

  • Monitoring and Surveillance of the Perimeter. Some of our cabins have exterior cameras or video surveillance. Cameras are not monitored for guest personal security or security of any personal materials. Cameras may be used to enforce and verify the compliance of the rental policies. Guests are not permitted to touch the security cameras for any reason. If they are moved or damaged in any way the guest may forfeit the complete loss of their security deposit.
